In the second quarter of 2021, the top five carpooling and ridesharing apps in Turkey showed diverse trends in weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance:

Uber - Request a ride saw a substantial increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 19.4K in the final week of June. Weekly active users also rose from around 361K at the end of March to about 439K by the end of June.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus experienced a steady rise in weekly downloads, reaching nearly 12.9K in the last week of June. Weekly active users increased from roughly 32K at the end of March to around 42.6K by the end of June.

Bolt: Request a Ride showed a gradual increase in weekly downloads, with numbers peaking at about 1.97K in the final week of June. Weekly active users also saw an upward trend, climbing from around 5.9K at the end of March to approximately 8.6K by the end of the quarter.

Yandex Go: Taxi Food Delivery had a consistent increase in weekly downloads, peaking at about 2.1K in the last week of June. Weekly active users grew from around 23.7K at the end of March to approximately 27.4K by the end of June.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver showed modest growth in weekly downloads, with a peak of around 996 in the final week of June. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 4.5K and 5.3K throughout the quarter.
